The Teacher
​Mrs. Linda Golden has taught Mathematics at Southwest Miami High School for many years and for the last several years she's been teaching Dual Enrollment courses through Florida International University and Miami Dade College. The course that she teaches is Strategies for Success which is right up her alley! She holds a Masters degree from the University of Miami in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Florida International University. She holds teaching certifications in Math, Psychology, Health, and Physical Education. She has been teaching in Miami-Dade County since 1985. Mrs. Golden is a native of Long Island, New York. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, photography, pickleball , fishing, boating and jumping waves on her Jetski.
